Immovable with Endurance
In this powerful message titled “Immovable with Endurance”, Pastor Catherine Chan reminds us that godly endurance is not just about holding on—but becoming more like Christ through the process.
Using the acronym S.T.A.Y., she walks us through four questions every believer must answer to build true endurance:
🔹 S – Stand Your Ground
When pressure intensifies and life gets heavy, endurance means not dropping the weight but staying rooted in faith, like a good soldier who keeps fighting for the One who called them.
🔹 T – Tempered Through Trials and Discipline
Endurance is forged not on mountaintops, but in valleys—through rejection, waiting, false teaching, and even God’s loving discipline. These challenges don’t break us; they reveal and strengthen our faith.
🔹 A – Align with His Greater Purpose
God uses suffering to shape our character and refine our faith, making it more valuable than gold. Through Christ-like perseverance, we develop lasting hope and confidence in God’s faithfulness.
🔹 Y – Yield to Him
When our strength runs dry, we’re called to yield not to defeat, but to Jesus—who endured the cross for the joy set before Him. Through His strength, we endure with joy, patience, hope, and divine grit.
No matter where you are—parenting teens, caregiving, navigating career challenges, or simply holding onto faith—God is building endurance in you. Don’t quit. Don’t walk away. Stay anchored. And one day, we’ll hear the words: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
